I have now actually paddled in a Dragon Boat- during the Ithaca N.Y. club Open House, held at Cass Park on an inlet to Lake Cayuga, on Saturday May 11th- it was fun- and I can do this! I got a lot of encouragement and motivation from the Ithaca festival organizers and President of the Eastern Region Dragon Boat Association, so I want to keep going to find a way to bring our very own festival to our part of the Hudson River.
