I would like to suggest the mid-Hudson Valley region in New York State, USA, centering around the Hudson River communities of Poughkeepsie, Kingston, Beacon and Newburgh, host and organize our very own annual DRAGON BOAT FESTIVAL.
Does anyone have advise or want to volunteer for this? Officially this Dragon Boat festival does not yet exist- there is no committee, no date, no race course, no entry form. it is just an idea.
So, YOU CAN BE PART OF THE IDEA FROM THE VERY BEGINNING.

If you are living in the USA now, and are able to participate, or help me organize the first-ever Dragon Boat race in Poughkeepsie, NY, 100 kilometers north of New York City, on the Hudson River, send me an email: pokdragonboat@gmail.com. There is also a Filipino cultural association in my local area that I have met with, to let them know about my plan for hosting a Dragon Boat race, so I can share that information with you as well.
